Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) was founded in 1925 and re-established inTaiwan in 1961. As the top university in Taiwan, it is Taiwan's only privatecomprehensive university under the direct authority of the Holy See.
The Bachelor's Program in Interdisciplinary Studies (BPIS) is Fu Jen University's firstall English-taught program for international students. Graduates of this programcan earn up to three concentrations in: global management, global sustainability,and global studies. In this unique program, students will have an internationallearning environment and gain international experiences through industry-academia collaboration (in both international and local companies) and socialengagement.
In addition to the core curriculum, students will need to take a cross-culturalmodule. They can also further their language skills by taking Mandarin classes freeof charge (up to 6 hours per week). BPIS provides personalized guidance to everystudent throughout the entire period of their studies. Currently, BPIS students spanover 16 countries. The career outlook for BPIS graduates include: managementconsulting, sustainability-related fields, media, government, urban planning,hospitality, and many more. Students can also further their education in individualfields of specialization.
